TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including the full fee get more info table, withdrawal policies, and website regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
